Starving for words!?
and their magical rewards...
Starving for moments
drawn
with hushed tone!!
Do you really wait
for the next utterances date?
praying night and day
that they won't go astray!
and lose their path!
causing your wrath!?
No retreat
is permitted
for thoughts
have to be committed
& submitted
again
and again
to this excruciating
process of pleasure and pain!
Words are haughty
and quite naughty
You can never drag them hither
and bind them forever!
They like to dwell
within their own cell
At times they compel
you to wait
at their very gate!
and if you are lucky
you might catch a glance
of a word or two
and have the romance
of dancing with words
so true ;)

words are the most powerful element that connect people but your words (in addition to that) they influence people to think and live differently. A word said by others could fly with no impact on whoever hears it, but the same word in a poem of yours evokes many hidden feelings of its reader.

it made me strongly believe that the old Arabic proverb (If speaking is silver, silence is gold) is not always right, it is exactly the other way around for some people and you are one of them.

DeleteA tremendous ability of describing the highest level of romantic relation where two souls are melted into each other. Once again you proved that some old proverbs are not always valid, we thought that a picture is worth a thousand words but with this poem it became the opposite (A word is worth a thousand pictures)
