Morning Temptations 

There is a certain

morning temptation

in waking up to see her

dazzling in the leaking light

softly kissed by the rays

drinking her coffee

planning her ways

--

there is a certain temptation 

in yielding up 

to this imagination

that one day

he'll see

the details of thee!

there is a mischievous temptation

 in thinking 

that he has it all

her body and soul

and not merely the edge 

of the impossible 

he eternally treads on

wishing that he's the one!

Not missing you 

but simply scratching

the idea of me

of you

binding 

in a word or two

None sense

is all that I could say...

but well...!

I have never been superbly good 

in this way!

scratches 

need patches

and my lines are no longer

healing

but like a formidable tide

receding!

A walk beyond the simple 

phrases 

that could wrap a lie

in purple hazes 

and so...

I can not see 

if you were

or would ever be

true to me!

But nothing more

Nothing beyond that wordy proverbial door

Nothing beyond the whisper

The little breathing whimper 

Nothing beyond the tilting letters

The poetical glitters

The sigh

The tear

The unseen fear

The Quizzical  existence of what could or not be

Nothing that binds u to me!

Nothing u r totally free

Unless u want to bind me!

how could

 I ever make you stay!!

so far away

your smile

that always nudged me 

to cross the next mile

so far away 

the incandescence of you

engulfing me 

with a love so true

sooo far away

these warm moments 

that won't stay

so far away

the glittering perfection

of having you near

hearing your words dear

and the tear/s

that come to the eye

as remembrances 

of the never expected goodbye

has nothing to offer

but a heart wrenching cry!
