merely living 

in a way!

You look 

merely seeing

what's there to see!

You laugh 

merely enjoying 

the spec of a moment 

that would eventually flee

You walk

merely realizing 

where you would go 

the road is no longer what you know!

You carry your smile

a heavy burden that lasted for

 more than the mere while 

You cry...

the tears seem never to wipe away

the inner pain that promises to stay!

You share a moment or two

that for a second it seems true!

You care

but in truth 

you never care at all

with this inner internal fall!

Then comes a day

when you truly see

what you should see

How life is ought to be!

What would you do 

to have it all back again 

to live it truly through the sunshine 

and the rain!

morning temptation

in waking up to see her

dazzling in the leaking light

softly kissed by the rays

drinking her coffee

planning her ways

there is a certain temptation 

in yielding up 

to this imagination

that one day

he'll see

the details of thee!

there is a mischievous temptation

 in thinking 

that he has it all

her body and soul

and not merely the edge 

of the impossible 

he eternally treads on

wishing that he's the one!
